Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>League of African Churches President Bishop Samson Hlatjwako will now become a Professor.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hlatjwako will be honoured with the work he has been doing for the churches under the League of African Churches for all these years he has been its President. He will be honoured with the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) accolade for having done a sterling job for the churches.<\/p>\n

The news of his honouring was announced by a clergyman who was identified as Chancellor Professor F M Nkosi from Emmanuel Christian University of South Africa. He had been introduced by Clergyman Nhlanhla Magongo from Sigombeni.<\/p>\n

Professor Nkosi was with Dr T. Sibandze and Bishop Professor Thobela. Hlatjwako was honoured by the Emmanuel Christian University of South Africa with this honorary accolade.<\/p>\n

However, Professor Nkosi told His Majesty King Mswati III, whom he was addressing, that they were still going to come back to honour him in accordance with the dictates of Eswatini Law and Customs.<\/p>\n

During the event, clergymen from the country were given an opportunity to preach about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

The first among those religious leaders was Bishop Sipho Tembe, the second was Reverend Canon Mandla Dlamini, the third one was Bishop Make Ndzinisa, the fourth one was Reverend Welcome Gwebu, the fifth one was Reverend Jerome Sangweni, while Reverend Dennis Shongwe was the last one.<\/p>\n

Proffesor Keith Harrington was among the religious leaders from outside the country, who were here to share the Word of God. Harrington said the country feared God, loved education, and held strongly to its customs. He said those three pillars were going to ensure that this country prospered and it would break records.<\/p>\n
