Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>His Majesty King Mswati III has commended the newly-blessed and ordained pastors for responding to the call to go into ministry.<\/b><\/p>\n

The six church leaders who were introduced to His Majesty, are taking over from their late predecessors. The new pastors are from both Eswatini and South Africa, under the League of African Churches.<\/p>\n

The king said he was glad to welcome the six into ministry. He said he was sure that God was with their predecessors.<\/p>\n

He also urged the the senior pastors to be exemplary and show the new ones the way.<\/p>\n

He said the ordained clergymen were lucky that they can refer to them when they face challenges as they have been in the faith for some time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am also glad that you did this in the open in broad daylight with many witnesses; I pray that you continue preaching the Word truthfully. I also appreciate the gifts and money (emagcolo) that were presented to me. May God bless you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, League of African Churches President, Chief Archbishop Professor Samson Hlatjwako encouraged the pastors to preach sermons that will give life and inspire brethren.<\/p>\n

He also wished His Majesty on behalf of all men and women of God a happy birthday in advance. He said when the king grows, the country develops as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe church leaders wish you Happy Birthday Your Majesty. Bayethe! Wena waPhakathi!\u201d said Hlatjwako.<\/p>\n

\u2018Make God proud, don\u2019t disappoint him\u2019<\/b><\/p>\n

THE king has urged the nation to make God proud and not disappoint him.<\/p>\n

He said they should also openly declare that they are Jesus\u2019 disciples.<\/p>\n

He said everyone should boldly declare that they are Jesus disciples, even if they are threatened and said the nation should not fear because God is the Lord of Armies, King of Kings.<\/p>\n

The king noted that this year\u2019s Passover Services were different in terms of sermons and numbers. He said the great numbers were impressive. He also said it was pleasing to see so many people gathering for a common purpose of worshipping God, which was instructed by the forefathers; kukhetsa umculo.<\/p>\n

His Majesty further noted that when one goes to church, they are revived, renewed and come out cleansed as God does that. No one can say they didn’t repent with such sermons that took place. He said there would be peace, abundance and everything would be well.<\/p>\n

He also said he was looking forward to an iPad with Siswati version. \u201cWe should not disappoint God but make him proud of us. He shouldn’t look down and think bonhliziyo zimbi have not repented. He gives what we request in abundance. You ask for bread, he gives bread and fish, doesn’t desert his own.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe message is clear that no one should be left behind when we go to heaven. We should be proud that God is with us once we are saved, regardless of dire situations that we at times go through.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme is better days are coming, there should be sacrifices. Jesus died and rose again which was a huge sacrifice, so that we have better days, hence the need to praise God,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Adding, he noted that Jesus had 12 disciples but one turned against him. He said that usually happens that as you walk the talk, some would turn against the vision. He was happy that the 11 remained committed that they will die where Jesus dies and will remain with him through challenges.<\/p>\n

The king said Simon Peter was known as anti-Christ but he was committed to being with Jesus up to the last day. He denied knowing Jesus during a time of crisis because his vision was that he wanted to be with Jesus until the last day.<\/p>\n

He encouraged the brethren to fulfil their God-given purpose until the last day. He urged that they should conquer and come out victorious over situations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter Jesus\u2019 death, the 11 recommitted to completing Jesus\u2019 mission. If you make a decision, stick to it and commit to your decision.<\/p>\n

\u201c God will bless you, give solutions to your prayers. We are born again, have been revived and will surely have better days ahead,\u201d the king added.<\/p>\n
