Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Eswatini National Trade Facilitation Committee (ENTFC) has embarked on a mission to address gender disparities within Eswatini\u2019s trade sector.<\/b><\/p>\n

To address this issue, ENTFC is calling on all stakeholders involved in cross-border trade to join in shaping the future of Eswatini\u2019s trade policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

ENTFC has announced the launch of a new study, exploring the Gender Dimensions of Trade Facilitation. With funding from the World Bank, the study aims to identify and address gender disparities in the trade sector.<\/p>\n

ENTFC has issued a statement outlining the purpose of a new survey being conducted. The survey aims to identify the obstacles encountered by traders and customs brokers in their cross-border activities. This information will be used to develop strategies and policies that support the effective and efficient movement of goods across borders.<\/p>\n

The study will also examine the specific challenges faced by women who engage in cross-border trade. This is a significant step towards ensuring that the experiences of all stakeholders are taken into account when shaping the future of trade in Eswatini. All parties involved in cross-border trade are invited to participate in the survey and provide their valuable insights and perspectives.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement, the survey will be conducted via telephonic interviews, targeting all stakeholders involved in cross-border trade. These interviews will be conducted by the University of Eswatini in collaboration with the survey company, Survey Global. The interviews will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and will be conducted until April 12. This is an important opportunity for all involved to provide their input and help shape the future of trade in Eswatini.<\/p>\n

The privacy and confidentiality of all participants is a top priority, and all survey responses will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The collected data will be reported at the aggregate level, protecting the individual information of all participants.<\/p>\n
