Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The football pits are opening wider as Wanderers risk being thrown into the football dustbins of history if the words of head coach Nyangayezizwe \u2018Crooks\u2019 Hlophe are anything to go by.<\/b><\/p>\n

This came after the Weslians were defeated 3-0 by Nsingizini Hotspurs during their MTN Premier League match at Ka- Langa Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Hlophe said they assumed they had prepared well for the match, only to find that Nsingizini had other plans, which was to ambush them.<\/p>\n

He said they only realised after Nsingizini scored their second goal that they might lose the match, including Bunny\u2019s shot from a penalty which was saved by Nsingizni goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

He further said it was not their day and was not blaming the player for not scoring the penalty.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the loss I am happy with the boys’ performance, I would like to encourage my boys to work hard and put more efforts.<\/p>\n

We were not expecting these results. Having said that, I believe we can survive relegation if we do better in our next match,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not play well hence we will go back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes. I am sure we will do better in our next match,\u201d he said.The former Black Swallows coach said another thing that led to their bad performance was the poor attendance of games by supporters.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were also let down by the fans and I am not blaming them but if my boys were supported just like our opponents, we would have done better. And going forward, we need the fans because they play an important role to the players,” he said.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Nsingizini Hotspurs head coach Alexio Sigion congratulated the players for the positive results.<\/p>\n

He said they played according to his game-plan. He was happy with their performance, saying they would be all out to get maximum points in future.<\/p>\n
