Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>His Majesty King Mswati III has promised that a Royal residence will be built in Mankayane.<\/b><\/p>\n

The King made this promise when he delivered his speech during his birthday celebrations at Mankayane Sports Ground. He said the Royal residence was needed in order for him to stay a bit longer in Mankayane when he had gone there to celebrate his birthday.<\/p>\n

The King said he had last celebrated his birthday in Mankayane in 1995 and he remembered clearly that the residents of Mankayane and surrounding areas had asked that the King should stay a bit longer when he celebrated his birthday. The residents, accoreding to the King, said they wanted to have time with the King so that they could inform him of the challenges and milestones that had achived.<\/p>\n

It was for that reason why he promised them that a Royal residence would be built in Mankayane. He said such an event was synonymous with bringing Their Majesties closer to the people, thereby bolstering peace and stability. The King said this displayed an essential attribute of the monarchical democracy.<\/p>\n

The King said he was relieved as two days ago, he had been cutting a sod marking the construction of the head offices of the Semlex Eswatini in Nokwane. He said that was a birthday gift that had been promised by the investors that came with the project. The King said the investors said the birthday gift to the King was the creation of jobs. The King was relieved because this promise had been realised, since it would provide the youth with some hope.<\/p>\n
