Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>David Myeni,the Motor Vehicle Accident(MVA) Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has been accused of dividing staff, male employees allegedly shared over five hundred thousands Rands(R500,000.00) as uniform allowances.<\/b><\/p>\n

It has been disclosed that, each male employee received about ten thousand Rands(R10,000.00) as an allowance,MVA has about one hundred and ten(110) employees and over half of them are females while the number of men is around forty-eight(48).<\/p>\n

The allowance was deposited into the accounts of the male employees together with their salaries this month, while females received nothing,but instead,they were told to visit a uniform manufacturing company to collect their uniform.<\/p>\n

MVA Spokesperson Makhosi Magongo had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

On another note,the tension among the employees escalated this week after female staff demanded their share,they felt the decision to pay male employees an allowance and force them to collect theirs from a company amounts to discrimination and undermine them merely for being women.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s true, we received the money but female workers were told to collect their uniform from a company known as Image Makers.This decision has divided the staff, I think they paid us as men because they knew we will make noise but then it\u2019s discrimination because women were supposed to receive the money as well\u201d,said the insider.<\/p>\n

Image Makers is a corporate wear company situated in Cape Town,Gaborone,Eswatini and Pretoria among other branches.<\/p>\n
