Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs has vowed to lay the groundwork for a robust five-year strategy that will fortify the country\u2019s legal infrastructure and enhance the functioning of its legal institutions.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was said by Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Principal Secretary (PS) Lindiwe Mbingo. She unveiled the ambitious plan during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Eswatini Legal Aid and the Young Heroes today (May 6, 2024).<\/p>\n

Mbingo shed light on the ministry\u2019s commitment to providing equitable and accessible legal aid, emphasising that this would be a crucial focus of the five-year strategy. The plan, she promised, would address the pressing issues surrounding legal assistance and ensure that it reached those who needed it the most, signaling a new era of justice and inclusivity for Eswatini.<\/p>\n

Young Heroes\u2019 CEO Khulekani Magongo voiced his appreciation to the government for its steadfast commitment to making legal aid more accessible to the people of Eswatini. Magongo went on to reaffirm Young Heroes\u2019 unwavering dedication to providing legal assistance to those in need, highlighting the crucial role that such support will play in advancing justice and upholding the rights of the country\u2019s youth.<\/p>\n
