Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Sifiso Khumalo,the Attorney General(AG) who is pushing King Mswati\u2019s case against editor Zweli Martin Dlamini wants Government to allocate him R20million more for the court case.<\/b><\/p>\n

It has been reported that,over R20million has already been spent from public funds by the AG paying lawyers,Advocates and private investigators among others, as the State fights the editor.<\/p>\n

The court case that has been turned into a looting scheme by the Attorney General and his allies, was launched about three(3) years ago,King Mswati who is represented by former Acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku took the editor to court over critical articles.<\/p>\n

Sources within the office of the AG alleged that, should Khumalo succeed in securing another R20million from Government, that would mean the bill for the case will increase to over R40million.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen asked what he is doing with this huge money,he would say some of the things paid for with the money remain confidential to prevent the editor from knowing the next step.The case is handled by him and Mbuso Simelane-Assistant Attorney General\u201d, said the insider.<\/p>\n

The AG declined to comment when asked to account for the public funds.<\/p>\n

On another note,eSwatini is struggling with a health crisis as public hospitals face shortage of drugs, hundreds have died since the crisis erupted.<\/p>\n
