In this country where about 70% of the population lives below the poverty line amid scarcity of jobs and business opportunities,it is very difficult to build your own small decent house(Lilawu) within the premises of your parental home,not to mention securing a piece of land to build your own home.<\/p>\n

But there are people who still believe they can just evict citizens from their land and demolish their houses with impunity just because they are powerful and politically connected.<\/p>\n

Mciniseli Nhleko,a senior citizen of Gege and other residents were forced to sink deeper into poverty after their homes were demolished by politically connected capitalists from Taiwan with the help of local businessmen Tito Dlamini and Sandile Simelane.<\/p>\n

The residents are without shelter and the Government that belongs to King Mswati is silent,after all,this is not a people\u2019s government.<\/p>\n

Tinkhundla system was designed to ensure that people remain poor and anyone who still believe that his\/her life will ever change for the better under this cruel system, is day-dreaming.<\/p>\n

Under the current ruling Tinkhundla system,all citizens must be ready for evictions, it will not end with the people of Gege as such human rights violations have been going on for years.<\/p>\n

The solution here as mentioned before, is to overthrow the current ruling Tinkhundla system and introduce a democratic government that will respect human rights.<\/p>\n
