Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Mpaka High School Sports Teacher Mzwandile Nxumalo has passed his gratitude to Instacash for choosing them as the wild card award and promised that they will do their level best in the upcoming last 16 game against Lomahasha High School, scheduled for Simunye Stadium on Thursday (June 6, 2024).<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking to this publication during the Instacash Lat 16 draw and kit presentation ceremony held at the Instacash offices in Mbabane, Nxumalo expressed his appreciation to Instacash for choosing them. \u201cWe would like to pass our sincere gratitude to Instacash for awarding us the wild card. We are happy about our actions even though we didn\u2019t know that it would present us with a second chance. But here we are, we will grab this opportunity with both hands,\u201d Nxumalo said.<\/p>\n

When asked about their preparations since they have been given a second chance in the tournament, Nxumalo stated that they would work on their previous mistakes and do better in the next game. \u201cWe\u2019ll go back to our drawing board to look for the mistakes that led to our downfall. We will get up and dust ourselves. We are looking forward to the next game.\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he also highlighted that their actions as a school were not intended to get them the wild card, but these are what the school has instilled within their students. \u201cOur pupils come in numbers to support the school team. We always encourage them to be on their best behaviour even if they have conflicted with anyone, other than causing chaos in the stadium.\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

During ceremony, Instacash Managing Director Mandla Cheeks Nxumalo described Mpaka High as the most disciplined, with sportsmanship and supportive school thus deserving the wild card. \u201cWe discourage bad behaviour among students. We have never received reports about Mpaka causing chaos during their games. The three most important things are discipline, sportsmanship and support.\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Mpaka High School suffered a 6-5 defeat on penalties after playing a 1-all draw against Ndzangu High School in regulation of the Siteki Top Branch finals.<\/p>\n
