Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Infracast has bagged a tender worth E1 600 800 from Eswatini Railways.<\/b>This tender was issued by the ESPPRA for fibre network upgrade for the supply of concrete sleepers.<\/b><\/p>\n

The company scored 79.60 per cent to emerge as best evaluated tenderer, which stands to be granted the tender, according to a notice issued by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA). There competitor was Colossal Concrete Products (South Africa).<\/p>\n

It was mentioned that the company would be awarded the tender in terms of Section 45 of the Public Procurement Act No.7 of 2011(the Act), following a competitive bidding process.<\/p>\n

It must be noted that in terms of Section 45(2) of the Act, the above contract award decision does not constitute a contract.<\/p>\n

Further, in terms of Sections 45(4), 46 and 47 of the Act, all tenderers who submitted bids were notified that a period of 10 working days would be allowed for submission of any application for review from the date of first publication of the notice.<\/p>\n

The notice was first issued on April 21.<\/p>\n
