Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Wakhile Lukhele, the Secretary General of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) has urged students to collaborate with other Swazis and overthrow King Mswati\u2019s Government.<\/b><\/p>\n

Mswati rules eSwatini as an absolute Monarch with Executive, Judicial and Legislative powers, political parties are banned from participating in elections and dozens of citizens have been killed by Mswati\u2019s forces merely for protesting and demanding democratic reforms.<\/p>\n

Addressing students during the delivery of a petition to the management of the Eswatini Medical Rescue College on Tuesday, the Students Union Secretary General said the current regime was selfish and wanted everything in the country to be enjoyed by Mswati, his Mother and the royal family.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tinkhundla system is selfish comrades, they want everything in the country to benefit Mswati, Ntombi, Majaha, bo-Sikhanyiso. So comrades, we will get proper education and a better life once we rise-up collectively and overthrow this Government”, he said.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to Thabile Mdluli, the Deputy Government Spokesperson, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis after the King unleashed soldiers to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.<\/p>\n
