Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>GOSPEL music lovers will once again have a date with South Africa\u2019s award-winning gospel choir, Joyous Celebration.<\/b><\/p>\n

The choir, led by of Jabu Hlongwane, Lindelani Mkhize and Mthunzi Namba will be performing in the Kingdom of Eswatini in August 27.<\/p>\n

The renowned choir last performed in the country in 2018 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.<\/p>\n

They will be launching their latest album titled \u2018Joy 26\u2019.
\nWhile details of the show are still under reps, the choir will be in the country courtesy of Umvini Events Management.<\/p>\n

Umvini Events Management is a company led by Nhlanhla Mathunjwa.
\nMathunjwa is also the public relations officer of the Association of Christian Artists in Eswatini (ACAESWA).<\/p>\n

The company also hosted Joyous Celebration in 2014.
\nThis was during a show held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
\nThe company was also involved in managing the last show in 2018.<\/p>\n

Venue<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a source, preparations for the show have already started and the venue is yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Before, the show was organised by Eswatini MTN in partnership with Destiny Music Group. The source added, \u201cFor the past month, the company\u2019s management has been preparing the show and all details have since been confirmed as the choir agreed to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joyous Celebration has become one of the biggest developmental platforms for artists in South Africa and has revolutionised the music scene and the genre. The group has produced 26 albums and sold over 3 million CDs and DVDs to date and performed live to over a million people in Africa and overseas. When contacted, Mathunjwa was reluctant to talk about the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow did you get the details about the show? We intended to release a proper statement in due course,\u201d he said. However, he confirmed that preparations of the show have already started. \u201cI can confirm to you that the choir has been booked for a performance in the country. We shall be releasing more details about the show in the next few weeks,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mathunjwa encouraged gospel music lovers to start preparing themselves for the show, saying they would try by all means to see to it that tickets are affordable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time around, the show will be bigger and better. It should be noted that for obvious reason, tickets will be limited. I just encourage music lovers to start booking seats. We already have a number that can be used by those who have the interest of booking their seats,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
