Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Despite the goalless draw against Rangers on Sunday in the MTN Premier League, Mbabane Swallows remain top of the table.<\/b><\/p>\n

The defending champions have 19 points same with Green Mamba who won 2-1 against Manzini Sea Birds on Saturday. Swallows are top of the table on head to head win after they secured a 1-0 win over Green Mamba under match day five.<\/p>\n

Third is Royal Leopard after match day eight with 18 points while Nsingizini Hotspurs are fourth with the same number of points after the 1-0 win over Ezulwini United on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Match day nine will be more interesting as the league draws closer to the first round finish. The top four teams battling for the first round carrot being Mbabane Swallows, Green Mamba, Royal Leopard and Nsingizini Hotspurs will all face each other.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Swallows is set for a showdown against Royal Leopard while Nsingizini Hotspurs will host Green Mamba. The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) is yet to release the fixtures with venues and kick-off times of match day nine.<\/p>\n

There would also be the Manzini derby between Manzini Sea Birds and Moneni Pirates while Madlenya will host Mbabane Highlanders. The other fixtures will see Illovo facing Rangers, Sisonkhe playing against Ezulwini United and Sidvwashini United will be visited by Young Buffaloes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it is not all looking good for Madlenya FC as they are bottom of the table with a point after eight matches. They have lost all seven matches and secured one draw while Sidvwashini United, Sisonkhe and Ezulwini United are also struggling to deliver the desired results.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Highlanders are also not far from the bottom of the 14 teams log as they are 10th with eight points after the same number of matches.<\/p>\n
