Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The National Team Male Netball squad (Tuesday, December10, 2024) play two games in the on-going Africa Netball Cup 2024, in Namibia.<\/b><\/p>\n

They will face Kenya at 10am and the play Namibia in the afternoon at 4pm. The male team opened its campaign on Monday against Zimbabwe with a 49-45 victory. The action will continue tomorrow (Wednesday) were they will face South Africa with Lesotho and Zambia next on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The team is under the guidance of Coach Wandile Sithole and he is assisted by Themba Sifundza. The team will play six games as there are seven countries that are taking part. The countries are Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia and Lesotho.<\/p>\n

The local side had to be at their best to stay top of the table and had a chance of lifting the trophy.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Women team lost their opening game against the hosts, Namibia. They lost 58-47 in the high contested match. They will also be back in action today against Zimbabwe in the afternoon at 4pm.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s national team will be led by Coach Friction Mayisela and he will be assisted by Themba Sifundza.<\/p>\n
