Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Eswatini has officially stamped its identity on local products with the launch of the \u201cMade in Eswatini\u201d logo, a proud new emblem of national quality and craftsmanship.<\/b><\/p>\n

The logo was unveiled during a press briefing hosted by the Municipal Council of Mbabane in collaboration with A Peculiar People\u2019s Person, setting the stage for the highly anticipated Eswatini Consumer Fair.<\/p>\n

The event attracted representatives from the sponsors and partners of the Consumer Fair, members of the organising team, as well as various media houses, all gathered to witness what was described as a landmark moment in Eswatini\u2019s economic development efforts.<\/p>\n

Her Royal Highness Princess Sakhizwe, who introduced the new logo, emphasized its significance in promoting local excellence. \u201cThis initiative is not just about branding; it\u2019s about fostering a sense of community and commitment to quality,\u201d she said. \u201cToday marks a significant step as we unveil the new Made in Eswatini logo, a symbol of pride for our local products.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Princess further called for continued support for local businesses, stating, \u201cWe are here to celebrate the creativity and resilience of our local producers.\u201d She also acknowledged the sponsors and partners, thanking them for their invaluable support in empowering Eswatini\u2019s entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

Lactalis Eswatini\u2019s Marketing Manager, Lucky Photo, also shared his excitement about the event. \u201cOpportunities like these are vital in growing not just our businesses, but pride in products made in Eswatini,\u201d he said during his speech. He also announced a cash sponsorship of E25,000. \u201cWe are proud to officially sponsor the Made in Eswatini Consumer Fair and look forward to seeing many of you there,\u201d Photo added. Lactalis Parmalat will also offer exclusive product specials at the fair, including Parmalat Aloe Vera low-fat yoghurt and other dairy products.<\/p>\n

Municipal Council of Mbabane CEO Gciniwe Fakudze highlighted the event\u2019s role in shaping future urban practices. \u201cWe want to start a new culture \u2014 one that promotes the use of reusable bags, walking to town, and reducing car dependency,\u201d Fakudze said. \u201cWe want people to get used to walking on their feet more than they drive.\u201d She went on to express the town\u2019s excitement in hosting the fair, adding, \u201cI believe all the towns will benefit from it one way or the other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fakudze also stressed the importance of encouraging environmental awareness and active lifestyles. \u201cThe town belongs to both motorists and pedestrians,\u201d she stated, underscoring the need for a balance between the two groups to ensure a more sustainable and pedestrian-friendly urban environment.<\/p>\n

Afi Dlamini, Marketing Manager for MTN FinTech, spoke about the partnership between MoMo and A Peculiar People, emphasizing its goal of driving financial inclusivity. \u201cThis partnership is built on shared values and a vision for a future where financial services are accessible to all,\u201d Dlamini said. \u201cTogether, we aim to empower underserved communities and support entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chairman of A Peculiar People\u2019s Person, Melusi Zox Dlamini, also expressed excitement about the event. \u201cWe are thrilled to be part of this initiative,\u201d he said. \u201cWe are looking forward to seeing local business people benefitting from the opportunities the fair provides, and we believe it will have a lasting positive impact on our economy.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the Made in Eswatini Consumer Fair set to debut on April 25 along Dr Sishayi Road, excitement is building as the fair promises to be a pivotal event, showcasing local innovation, fostering economic growth, and promoting sustainable urban living.<\/p>\n
