Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Mbabane Swallows Ugandan striker Bashir Mutanda has reportedly gone AWOL (absent without official leave) from the team.<\/b><\/p>\n

The player\u2019s disappearance comes after the departure of Ghanaian coach and Deputy Governor Christopher Ennin, who recently penned a short term deal with Ghana premier league outfit Berekum Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the duo previously left the \u2018Beautiful Birds\u2019 three months ago before returning a month later together with central defender Kingsley Kwaki, who is still part of the team.<\/p>\n

A source close to the matter revealed that the sturdy striker left the red and white glamour side on Friday and he is believed to have returned to his native country.<\/p>\n

\u201cBashir left the country last week without informing any official about his departure. He is believed to be in Uganda,\u201dsaid the source.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Swallows Marketing and Communications Manager Mancoba Mabuza said he was locked in a meeting when contacted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in a meeting at the moment and I will send a response,\u201d he briefly said.<\/p>\n

However, Mabuza did not respond to the questionnaire when tried late last night.<\/p>\n

The former Mumbara City striker has made a few appearances for the capital city giants. He came with an injury upon his return recently, hence, he was on the treatment table.<\/p>\n
