Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Excitement is written all over the faces of the members of the Nazareth Baptist Church, as their leader Unyazi Lwezulu arrives in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

Unyazi Lwezulu arrived in the country around 11am on May 20, 2025 through Lavumisa Border Gate. His arrival was marked by dances and singing among local members of the Nazareth Baptist Church. Also, some members of the church were seen kneeling down before him when he passed them by to probably get services offered at the border gate. They were heard shouting, \u201cAmen Ongcwele.\u201d Unyazi Lwezulu is supposed to be welcomed by members of the church at Bethany (Esabelweni), a place where they usually worship.<\/p>\n

During his visit in the country, Unyazi Lwezulu is expected to pay a courtesy call to His Majesty King Mswati III. Members of the church from Eswatini and outside the country are also expected to worship together with the king at Ludzidzini Royal Residence, towards the last days of Unyazi\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n

Nazareth Baptist Church National Coordinator Derrick Dlamini invited Emaswati to be part of the special week for the Nazareth Baptist Church members. Dlamini promised that this year\u2019s event was going to be massive, as many will be baptized to become fully-fledged members of the church. The coordinator was not sure about the exact number of the people who are expected to be baptized, but stated that the numbers would be high.<\/p>\n

Dlamini stated that if everything went according to plan, some of their church services would be taken to the other regions of the country. He mentioned that all Emaswati are welcome to worship with them for the duration of the week of Unyazi\u2019s visit. He said people were not expected to bring anything to their place of worship because Shembe used the Word to heal people. However, this does not mean that people are not allowed to offer whatever they want to forward to the church.<\/p>\n
