In Eswatini, the first autism survey in the Lubombo region revealed a prevalence rate of 1 in 6 individuals (16.7%) living with ASD.<\/p>\n<p>The study highlighted major challenges in accessing education, healthcare, therapy, and specialized services particularly sexual and reproductive health care for individuals with autism.<\/p>\n<p>ASD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulties in social communication, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviours. Common signs include delayed speech, social interaction challenges, sensory sensitivities, intense focus, and repetitive movements.<\/p>\n<p>Experts emphasize that early diagnosis and intervention are critical for helping individuals with ASD reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>Autism Eswatini, also known as Litsemba Lemliba Support Centre, is a nonprofit organization that supports children, individuals, and families affected by autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders in Eswatini.<\/p>\n<p>The organization focuses on rehabilitation, awareness, advocacy, research, protection, psychosocial support, and spiritual nurturing.<\/p>\n<p><b>CONTRIBUTION OPTIONS FOR THE GOLF TOURNAMENT INCLUDE:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>.E10 000 \u2013 Sponsor a team (includes green fees and branded golf T-shirts)<\/p>\n<p>.E5 000 \u2013 Minimum contribution<\/p>\n<p>.Sponsorship of tournament merchandise<\/p>\n<p>Payments can be made via MoMo at 7840 4758.
