Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Eswatini Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) has taken significant strides in strengthening inclusive stakeholder engagement and reinforcing its oversight function in the implementation of Global Fund-supported health interventions.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a preamble tabled by Prime Minister Russell Dlamini on July 21, 2025 in the House of Assembly, as part of its commitment to inclusive governance and accountability<\/b>, the CCM recently conducted a Constituency Engagement Rapid Assessment<\/b>. The findings of this assessment are now being used to improve communication channels, foster transparency, and ensure more frequent, structured, and productive interactions<\/b> between the CCM and its various constituencies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal of this assessment was to listen to the voices of our stakeholders and create a more responsive, participatory framework,\u201d said the preamble, in part. \u201cIt will help us build stronger partnerships that are essential for the success of national health responses.\u201d<\/p>\n

In line with its mandate to provide oversight on Global Fund grant implementation<\/b>, the CCM also conducted a site visit to Mbabane Government Hospital<\/b>, where a major health infrastructure milestone has been achieved. A Liquid Oxygen Tank<\/b>\u2014now fully completed\u2014is expected to significantly enhance the hospital\u2019s capacity to deliver critical care services.<\/p>\n

The tank will provide medical-grade liquid oxygen with a minimum purity rate of 95.5%,<\/b> ensuring that patients in need of respiratory support can access reliable, life-saving treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis development is a testament to what can be achieved through well-coordinated investment and diligent oversight,\u201d the preamble noted.<\/p>\n

These efforts underscore the CCM\u2019s role not only in grant coordination but also in advocating for improved health service delivery and inclusive stakeholder participation across all levels of Eswatini\u2019s healthcare system.<\/p>\n

As Eswatini continues to work toward achieving national and global health targets, the CCM\u2019s proactive approach to engagement and accountability is being hailed as a model for transparent, people-centered health governance.<\/p>\n
