Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Luyengo Campus has once again emerged as national champions at the 2025 Enactus Eswatini National Competition, earning the honour to represent the Kingdom at the upcoming Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand this September.<\/b><\/p>\n

The high-energy competition was held yesterday at The George Hotel in Manzini, drawing five innovative tertiary institutions under the theme: \u201cGeneration: Re.\u201d, a call to reimagine, regenerate and redefine the future through entrepreneurial action.<\/p>\n

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Hon. Manqoba Khumalo, officially announced the results and praised the transformative power of youth-led innovation.<\/p>\n

\u201cYoung people are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the vibrant innovators of today,\u201d said Khumalo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am profoundly inspired by their creativity, boundless energy, and unwavering determination to solve real-world problems through sustainable, market-based solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to empowering youth enterprises, citing ongoing support through partnerships, skills development programmes, and favourable policy frameworks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe envision a future where youth-owned businesses are driving Eswatini\u2019s economic transformation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The top three winners were:<\/b>
\n1st Place:<\/b> UNESWA Luyengo Campus \u2013 E10 000 prize and Thailand trip<\/p>\n

2nd Place:<\/b> Limkokwing University of Creative Technology \u2013 E5 000 prize<\/p>\n

3rd Place:<\/b> Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU), Faculty of Health Sciences \u2013 E2 000 prize<\/p>\n

Ngwane Teachers\u2019 Training College also stood out with an impressive aloe-based product presentation, while UNESWA Mbabane Campus clinched the MTN Makoya Award for Tech Innovation of the Year.<\/p>\n

Starter of the Year: Phiwayinkhosi Ngwenya (\u201cBehind the Bars\u201d) \u2013 E1 000<\/p>\n

The competition attracted dignitaries including Nedbank Managing Director Fikile Nkosi, development partners, and representatives from the private sector.<\/p>\n

Guests were taken through vibrant exhibitions where teams showcased their solutions to pressing national challenges such as climate change, food security, youth unemployment, and education access.<\/p>\n

The event solidified Enactus Eswatini\u2019s role as a springboard for entrepreneurial youth, cultivating socially conscious business leaders ready to make a global impact.<\/p>\n
