Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Green Adventure Enterprises, a company operated by 12 Form 4 students under the JA Eswatini Company Programme, engaged the Edlangeni community through a series of initiatives that promoted renewable energy, youth empowerment, and education.<\/b><\/p>\n

During the event, the young entrepreneurs showcased their biogas digester, a technology that converts animal waste into clean biogas for cooking. The innovation reduces reliance on firewood, cutting down deforestation, and helps households save money otherwise spent on electricity or gas.<\/p>\n

It also provides a cleaner cooking solution, reducing smoke-related health risks often caused by burning wood or paraffin. In addition, the digester produces organic fertilizer as a by-product, which can boost crop production for farmers.<\/p>\n

The students also donated 60 packs of washable sanitary pads worth E6 000 to 30 young girls in the community. Of this, E3 600 worth of pads was generously contributed by Days for Girls Eswatini. The washable pads provide girls with a long-term and cost-saving alternative to disposable sanitary products, easing the financial burden on families while supporting the dignity of young women.<\/p>\n

The engagement also extended to early childhood education, as the team donated books to 40 preschoolers, ensuring that children have reading materials to enjoy during the holidays.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of Green Adventure Enterprises, the students highlighted their mission to offer green solutions that drive sustainable development, aligning with national and global efforts to build resilience through renewable energy and the circular economy.<\/p>\n

Green Adventure Enterprises was established by students supported through boMake Rural Projects\u2019 education programme and continues to demonstrate how youth-led initiatives can meaningfully impact communities.<\/p>\n
