Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>A majority of the aspiring soldiers who made it through to the next stage during the Mhlambanyatsi Inkhundla army recruitment exercise yesterday said they want to serve the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

They all expressed that they always wanted to be part of the army because they loved the country. Over 400 hopefuls took part in the exercise where only six (four males and two females) made it to the next stage.<\/p>\n

Mhlambanyatsi Member of Parliament and House of Assembly speaker Petros Mavimbela said it was encouraging to see the youth coming in their numbers for the recruitment exercise.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an impressive turnout and I want to encourage those who did not make it to the next stage not to give up.\u201dMavimbela said the participants were ready for the exercise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who did not make it should go back to school as they are still young. There will be another opportunity in future where they can try again.\u201dHe said the exercise was a success.\u201cI must say that we are all happy the exercise went well.\u201cWe hope all those who went through will do well in the next stage,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
