Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Royal Leopard enterprising playmaker Junior Magagula and Mbabane Highlanders head coach Selaotse \u2018Sly\u2019 Mosala are currently leading the MTN \/PLE fan voting polls for the player of the year and coach of the year awards, respectively.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is according to the latest statistics released yesterday by MTN Brand and sponsorship Manager Lando Dlamini after the launch of the competition a fortnight ago at Sigwaca House.<\/p>\n

The initiative allows fans to vote for their player, coach and goalkeeper of the year from both the MTN Premier League and the National First Division.<\/p>\n

After being instrumental in his side\u2019s defence of the league title with the most assists, with 112 votes so far with Mbabane Highlanders striker and captain Sabelo \u2018Sikhali\u2019 Ndzinisa following closely with 65 votes.<\/p>\n

Young Buffaloes marksman Sandile \u2018Saviola\u2019 Gamedze rounds up the top three with only two votes with the other candidates Mbabane Swallows duo Wonder \u2018Samba Jive\u2019 Nhleko, Sediou Blandja and Manzini Wanderers Neliswa \u2018Tiger\u2019 Dlamini yet to receive any votes.<\/p>\n

In the coach of the year category, Mosala leads with 23 votes ahead of Tambankulu Callies\u2019 Sifiso \u2018Nuro\u2019 Ntibane at 19. After winning this year\u2019s MTN Premier League title, Royal Leopard coach Edwin Matsebula is in third with nine votes whilst his Buffaloes counterpart Sabelo Mnisi is in fourth place with six.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Swallows coach Musa Manyatsi has five votes with Vovovo\u2019s Caleb Ngwenya yet to get any votes. Meanwhile, Manzini Wanderers goal minder Bongiswa Dlamini is top in the goalkeeper of the year category with 76 votes and he is followed by Khanyakwezwe Shabalala from Highlanders with 41.<\/p>\n

Madlenya\u2019s star player Lucky Gamedze leads the NFD player of the year votes on 79 so far with Illovo\u2019s Sibusiso Dlamini leading the goalkeeper of the year category with 77 votes.<\/p>\n

In the coach of the year category, Msumpe Manchester\u2019s Thami Dlamini leads the pack with 76 votes.<\/p>\n
