Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Capitol Caterers has celebrated 20 years of service excellence.<\/b><\/p>\n

The industrial catering company celebrated the anniversary at a client luncheon held at their premises at King Sobhuza II Avenue on Friday.<\/p>\n

Group Company Chairman Giles King paid tribute to the company\u2019s first ever client, Waterford Kamhlaba United World College.<\/p>\n

\u201cWaterford College displayed great faith in our capability to provide an excellent catering service to their students and 20 years on we continue to do so. Their unwavering confidence in our ability was the catalyst for us to grow our market share and cement our position in the kingdom,\u201d King said.<\/p>\n

Donovan King, Deputy Principal of Waterford Kamhlaba College who was the guest speaker said in 2019, the industrial catering company invested over E7 million in new offices, a retail canteen, ration packing warehouse, a central distribution kitchen and three adjoining mini factories.<\/p>\n

This investment was made as a result of a growing economy, increased business opportunities and commitment to re-invest and expand in the country.<\/p>\n

King emphasised that the company was a fully registered and local based company and not \u2018a South African one\u2019.<\/p>\n

He said operating profits and dividends were distributed in the country, which contributed favourably to the company\u2019s financial sustainability and commitment to the kingdom.<\/p>\n

King explained that in 2005, a further 21 per cent of the company shareholding was given for free to establish a staff trust.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll employees of Capitol Caterers Eswatini are beneficiaries of this trust and receive annual dividends from profits generated. The purpose of the trust is to empower employees and reward them for their service and commitment to the company,\u201d King said.<\/p>\n

Strategic<\/b><\/p>\n

The deputy principal added that the company employed 104 Eswatini nationals to service its 10 strategic contracts in the education, healthcare, industrial and agricultural sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud to work with local businesses in the sourcing of all our basic requirements and produce, both consumables and non-consumables. We are inspired by the confidence of the people and economy,\u201d King said.<\/p>\n
