{"id":86390,"date":"2026-04-05T09:01:02","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T09:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eswatini\/all-news\/indlovukazi-urges-forgiveness-and-christian-living"},"modified":"2026-04-05T09:01:02","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T09:01:02","slug":"indlovukazi-urges-forgiveness-and-christian-living","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eswatini\/all-news\/indlovukazi-urges-forgiveness-and-christian-living","title":{"rendered":"Indlovukazi Urges Forgiveness and Christian Living"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"ap-article-header-tag\">           <strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Eswatini. <\/strong>         <\/span><b>Her Majesty Indlovukazi has urged congregants to embrace forgiveness and live exemplary Christian lives, stressing that true believers must reflect their faith through their daily conduct.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>She emphasised that forgiveness remains central to Christianity, reminding congregants that Jesus Christ forgave humanity even while they were still sinners, as Her Majesty Indlovukazi delivered a powerful message at the Good Friday service at the Lobamba National Church on April 3, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy message today is that believers must lead the ways of believers; your walk must be exemplary as a walk of a believer,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Her Majesty urged Christians to go beyond words and demonstrate their faith through actions rooted in truth, humility and obedience to God.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing from 1 Kings 1:1\u20134, she reflected on King David\u2019s guidance to his son Solomon after reigning for 40 years, highlighting the importance of leadership grounded in God\u2019s commandments.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that the message remains relevant today, especially as His Majesty King Mswati III on April 25,2026 will be celebrating 40 years on the throne.<\/p>\n<p>Her Majesty Indlovukazi said just as Solomon was instructed to walk in God\u2019s ways to lead successfully, emaSwati must also follow God\u2019s counsel to ensure blessings and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cForgiveness is an important factor in our lives. As believers, we must learn to forgive one another and seek forgiveness where we have wronged others,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Her Majesty further encouraged Christians to uphold salvation with commitment, describing it as a vital aspect of their spiritual journey that must be embraced wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor if we are guided by the commands of God, He will do everything we ask Him to do for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She also reminded congregants of the Seven Words of Jesus Christ on the Cross, describing them as a powerful reflection of love, sacrifice and forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The service featured messages from various church leaders, each reflecting on the suffering and sacrifice of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Arch Bishop Jethro Muzi Shongwe delivered a moving sermon from Matthew 27:46, reflecting on Christ\u2019s cry of abandonment and the deeper meaning of suffering within God\u2019s divine plan.<\/p>\n<p>Lady Bishop Bethusile Mwale ministered from John 19:28, focusing on Christ\u2019s suffering and the significance of His final moments on the cross.<\/p>\n<p>Reverend Nomathemba Dladla shared from John 19:26\u201327, highlighting Christ\u2019s message of love, care and responsibility even in His final moments.<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Vusi Nhleko spoke from John 19:30, reminding congregants of Christ\u2019s final declaration, \u201cIt is finished,\u201d marking the completion of His mission.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop William Dlamini delivered a message from Luke 23:43, affirming Christ\u2019s promise of salvation: \u201cToday you will be with me in paradise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Makhosi Dlamini concluded the Seven Words with a message from Luke 23:46, emphasising total surrender to God, saying, \u201cFather, into Your hands I commit my spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini also addressed the congregation, praising the unity among different church denominations and encouraging emaSwati to remain united in faith.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Prince Simelane announced that the spiritual programme will continue tomorrow, with pastors gathering at Ngabezweni Royal Residence for Bible teachings with His Majesty King Mswati III.
