Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Green Lightning netball teams secured a historic double victory in both the SBS men\u2019s and women\u2019s leagues after their male and female sides defeated Royal Flames Netball Club in the 2025\/2026 Swaziland Building Society (SBS) Elite Netball League finals held at Mavuso Sports Centre on April 11, 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n

The male team recorded a commanding 45\u201325 win in the men\u2019s final, while the female team edged Royal Flames 57\u201352 in the women\u2019s final, sealing a memorable double triumph that brought the 2026 season to a competitive close across both divisions. The finals were attended by His Majesty\u2019s Correctional Services Commissioner General, LaMakhosini Phindile Dlamini, reflecting the growing prominence of netball in Eswatini\u2019s sporting landscape.<\/p>\n

The victories came at the end of a season that resumed in February 2026 after a two-month break, when the SBS Elite Netball League returned with renewed intensity and a series of high-stakes fixtures across the country.<\/p>\n

According to the Eswatini National Netball Association (ENNA), the restart period featured crucial matches that shaped the final standings in both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s leagues, including women\u2019s clashes such as ABC Academy against Vixens, and a key encounter where Lightning faced OlympAfrica as teams pushed for stronger positions on the log.<\/p>\n
