Mduduzi Matsebula recieved donation of roofing building materials worth E105 000 from Business Eswatini (BE) through CONCO Limited at the Business Eswatini offices on April 14, 2026, to support the rehabilitation of the Mkhuzweni Health Centre Outpatient Department.<\/b><\/p>\n

The donation comes as part of ongoing efforts to restore essential health services at the facility following severe storm damage in December 2025, which disrupted access to primary healthcare for surrounding communities that rely on the centre as their first point of care.The initiative highlights a growing public-private partnership between government and the business sector, aimed at accelerating infrastructure rehabilitation and strengthening healthcare delivery across Eswatini.<\/p>\n

The storms caused extensive damage to the Mkhuzweni Health Centre, particularly the Outpatient Department, affecting thousands of patients and placing additional pressure on nearby health facilities. In response, the Ministry of Health reallocated funds to initiate urgent repairs despite the project not being initially budgeted for.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the handover, Matsebula expressed appreciation for the timely intervention. \u201cYour contribution goes beyond infrastructure repair ,it restores access to essential services, renews hope within the community, and reinforces confidence in our health system,\u201d said Matsebula.
