That is how leadership is guided.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chief Prince Gija highlighted that the Swazi monarchy, under the House of Dlamini, dates back more than two centuries, with a continuous line of rulers that has endured through generations.<\/p>\n<p>Historical records trace the roots of the monarchy to Ngwane III in the 18th century, forming one of Africa\u2019s longest-standing royal lineages. Despite periods of colonial administration, the monarchy remained a central symbol of unity and authority, later regaining full governing powers in 1973 under King Sobhuza II.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Prince Gija said this uninterrupted legacy reflects divine favour and national strength, noting that \u201cBukhosi baNgwane\u201d has remained intact for over 200 years.<\/p>\n<p>As the country prepares to mark the King\u2019s 40-year reign, he said the focus will not only be on celebration but also prayer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will pray that God continues to bless His Majesty with wisdom and strength, and grant him another 40 years or more to lead the nation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Chief Mdokwana of Mahlalini, also known as Xolani \u2018Chocco\u2019 Sibandze, also joined in congratulating the King, praising his leadership and calling for continued divine guidance.<\/p>\n<p>He echoed similar sentiments, urging the nation to remain united and to support Their Majesties, while praying for more years of leadership marked by wisdom and stability.<\/p>\n<p>The remarks come as the country reflects on decades of monarchical leadership, widely credited by traditional leaders with maintaining peace, cultural identity and continuity in Eswatini.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Eswatini<\/span> Follow <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Africa-Press<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Eswatini.
