Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Bonginkhosi Dube has described the achievements made by King Mswati III since ascending to the throne in 1986 as too numerous to fully mention.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Phondo Member of Parliament made the remarks during the Ruby Jubilee roadshow hosted by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Mankayane, where communities gathered to celebrate 40 years of the King\u2019s reign and his 58th birthday.<\/p>\n

Phondo is one of the constituencies located in the Manzini Region on the outskirts of Mankayane town.<\/p>\n

Visible Development Across Communities<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking during the event, Dube said there had been extensive transformation under the King\u2019s leadership, with many areas across the country benefiting from infrastructure development and improved services.<\/p>\n

He pointed to visible progress in Phondo and Mankayane, particularly the improvement of roads and public infrastructure, which he said had significantly changed the area over the years.<\/p>\n

Recalling earlier years when Mankayane was largely characterised by gravel roads, the MP said the town and surrounding communities have since undergone major development.<\/p>\n

He noted that these changes stand as clear signs of national progress achieved during the King\u2019s four decades on the throne.<\/p>\n

New Service Centre for Phondo<\/b><\/p>\n

Dube also highlighted plans for the construction of a service centre in Phondo, which is expected to benefit residents of the constituency.<\/p>\n

He said the facility would improve access to essential services, particularly for elderly citizens, whom he described as being close to the King\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n

The centre is expected to reduce the burden of travelling long distances for administrative and other public services, especially for vulnerable members of the community.<\/p>\n

Residents welcomed the planned development, saying it would improve convenience and service delivery within the constituency.<\/p>\n

Tribute During National Celebrations<\/b><\/p>\n

During the roadshow, Dube joined residents in congratulating the King on the milestone of 40 years on the throne and his 58th birthday.<\/p>\n

He said the occasion offered an opportunity to reflect on the transformation that has taken place in communities across Eswatini under the King\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

The Mankayane roadshow formed part of nationwide activities led by the Ministry of Home Affairs to build momentum ahead of the main Ruby Jubilee celebrations.<\/p>\n

Legacy of Progress and Impact<\/b><\/p>\n

The MP said the scale of development witnessed over the years made it difficult to list every achievement associated with the King\u2019s reign.<\/p>\n

He added that the continued focus on infrastructure, community welfare, and service delivery demonstrates a legacy of impact that continues to shape the lives of emaSwati.<\/p>\n

As the country counts down to the national celebrations, leaders and residents alike continue to recognise the progress made over the past four decades.<\/p>\n
