In an official update, the Ministry of Public Service confirmed that discussions are progressing within established negotiation platforms, with no deadlock reached and further engagements scheduled for next week. This signals continued commitment from all parties to find a balanced and sustainable resolution.<\/p>\n

The Ministry emphasized that any actions outside the current negotiation framework would be premature, given that structured dialogue is still underway. \u201cAt present, negotiations have not reached a deadlock, rendering any related actions premature,\u201d the statement noted.<\/p>\n

In a proactive move to strengthen engagement, the Prime Minister extended a formal invitation to the leadership of public sector unions to convene a dedicated meeting. The meeting is aimed at deepening dialogue and identifying a mutually agreeable path forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis invitation sought to initiate a meeting dedicated to promoting dialogue and establishing a mutually agreeable course of action,\u201d the Ministry stated.<\/p>\n

Government further reassured public servants of its commitment to their welfare, highlighting that all processes are guided by good faith and respect for legal frameworks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Government hereby reaffirms its commitment to the interests and welfare of all public servants, as well as adherence to all legally established frameworks that govern good-faith engagement at all levels,\u201d said Minister of Public Service Mabulala Maseko.<\/p>\n
