Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Another police officer has been shot dead by members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF).<\/b><\/p>\n

The shooting was confirmed by the SISF Spokesperson on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes it\u2019s true, members of the Solidarity Forces were on their way to attack a target and they saw a police officer along the way and shot him. We can confirm that the officer died on the spot,\u201d said the Solidarity Forces Spokesperson.<\/p>\n

The name of the officer cannot be revealed for now, for ethical reasons.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened a few hours after the shooting of soldiers next to Masundvwini Palace on Friday evening.<\/p>\n

Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

On another note,the Spokesperson of the Solidarity Forces said the shooting would intensify until the release of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.<\/p>\n

Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis after Mswati unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians.<\/p>\n
