Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Samkeliso Macross Matsebula was heavily assaulted to death by Mswati\u2019s financially broke soldiers who subsequently robbed him ten thousand Rands (R10,000.00).<\/b><\/p>\n

Eswatini is a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa with about 70% on the population living below the poverty line, some citizens survive through dagga farming.<\/p>\n

An independent investigation conducted by the press uncovered that the incident happened at Mabhukwini under Mangcongco Inkhundla on Saturday night,Samkeliso\u2019s mother Make Mhlanga confirmed the death of his son.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son was killed by soldiers, he was taking care of me and now I am hopeless,\u201d said the mother of the deceased in an interview that was shared on the Swaziland News online platforms.<\/p>\n

It has been disclosed that an inquiry file has been opened at Bhunya Police Station after the disappearance of the deceased\\’s monies.<\/p>\n

After killing Matsebula, the soldiers allegedly searched his pockets and grabbed four thousand Rands(R4,000.00) police insiders alleged the deceased was from South Africa to sell his dagga in the black-market.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey killed him and then called us to take his body to the mortuary. He was bleeding in the eyes,noise and his teeth were damaged. We then gathered that the deceased was carrying R10,000.00 but as the police, we found him with R6000,00. But even the R6000.00 is now missing at the police station and an enquiry file has been opened,\u201d said a police officer based at Bhunya Police Station.<\/p>\n

Eye witnesses told this publication that Matsebula was not waking along the boarder when attacked by Mswati\u2019s soldiers.<\/p>\n

\u201dHe was within the community and the soldiers knew that he was from South Africa to sell dagga,\u201dsaid an insider.<\/p>\n

On another note, Make Mhlanga, the mother to the deceased told this publication that neighbors heard his son crying for help while asking the soldiers what did wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201dHe was crying \u201cngenteni, ngoneni\u201d, said the mother to the deceased.<\/p>\n

When reached for comments, Derrick Mkhonta, the Head of Emabhukwini Army Base were Samkeliso was allegedly killed declined to comment.<\/p>\n

Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

Reached for comments,Sakhile \u2018Awuviva \u2019 Nxumalo,the President of the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO) assured the family of the deceased that eSwatini would democratize very soon and those who kill citizens would be held accountable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese soldiers are killing citizens because they know that they enjoy the protection from Mswati, their Commander-in Chief. As Swazis we must speed-up the process of liberating this country, members of the security forces are all out to kill us,\u201d said the SWAYOCO President.<\/p>\n
