Ethiopian Delegation Attending World Food Forum in Rome

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Ethiopian delegation led by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s Minister of Industry, Melaku Alebel is attending the World Food Forum which began this morning, according to Ethiopian Embassy in Rome.

The Ethiopian delegation will share Ethiopia’s magnificent achievements and experiences in green legacy, irrigated wheat production and productivity, and YeLemat Tirufat during the four-day World Food Forum (WFF).

The high-level delegation will meet with several participating international agricultural research institutes, financial institutions, and major agro-food system corporations on the side-lines of the event.

The World Food Forum flagship event is a dynamic global platform that transcends boundaries, generations and sectors to transform the future of our agrifood systems.

The event is underway starting from 16–20 October 2023, both at the Headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) in Rome, Italy and virtual platform.

The 2023 event bring together world experts, impassioned change makers and visionary leaders of all ages around the theme: “Agrifood systems transformation accelerates climate action”.
