Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the Compact with Africa (CwA) Summit today, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.
Launched under the German G20 Presidency in 2017, the G20 CwA has become a platform for dialogue and cooperation between reform-oriented African countries, G20 partners and beyond.
The Prime Minister participated in a session focused on economic cooperation and enhancing private sector participation.
“Pleased to meet my good brother President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Compact with Africa Summit. Our strengthened relations and multifaceted cooperation continues to be anchored in trust and mutual interests for sustained development,” the premier said.
