Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said seedling preparations underway for next 2024 year’s planting season.
Ethiopia has been engaged in a massive afforestation activities through its Green Legacy Initiation, which was launched in 2019 by Prime Minister Abiy.
The country has so far been able to plant more than 32.5 billion seedlings nationwide by mobilizing over 20 million people. The nation aims to plant 50 billion seedlings by 2026.
The premier said on his Face-book page that “From year to year we’re invested in our Green Legacy. Seedling preparations underway for next year’s planting season.”
