Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Kin Ethiopia Cultural and Art performance Group has received a warm welcome in Beijing, China.
The group, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, is working to promote Ethiopia’s revival to the world.
Minister of Culture and Sports, Shewit Shanka, stated that the Kin Ethiopia art professionals will showcase Ethiopia’s rich cultures, music, traditional attire, fashion and design products, circus performances, and coffee ceremonies in Beijing and other major Chinese cities.
The Minister also expressed gratitude for the reception accorded to the delegation, emphasizing that art plays a significant role in strengthening the long-standing diplomatic and people-to-people relations between Ethiopia and China.
She added that efforts would be made to foster partnerships with other countries and institutions to further enhance the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
Ethiopian Ambassador to China, Tefera Derbew, expressed his delight in welcoming the delegation, who will present their artistic works in Beijing.
He noted that the Kin Ethiopia Cultural and Art Group significantly contributes to diplomatic efforts.
State Minister for Government Communication Service, Tesfahun Gobezai, highlighted the crucial role of the Kin Ethiopia Cultural and Art Group in promoting Ethiopia’s resurgence to the world.
The State Minister further added that Kin Ethiopia would help strengthen the strategic relations between the two countries.
The Kin Ethiopia Art and Culture Group will spend one week in Beijing, China, introducing Ethiopia’s resurgence to Chinese and other nationals through music and various performances.
It is noted that the Kin Ethiopia Art and Culture Group comprises representatives from all regions of Ethiopia.
