Rwandan Moroccan Prime Ministers Attend AU Summit

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. The Prime Minister of Rwanda, Justin Nsengiyumva, and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, Aziz Akhannouch, have arrived in Addis Ababa to take part in the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.

The two leaders were received at Bole International Airport by Ethiopia’s Minister of Peace, Mohamed Edris, and State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Berhanu Tsegaye.

The 39th AU Summit convenes under the theme “Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063,” providing a platform for leaders to deliberate on continental peace and security, the African Continental Free Trade Area, and climate resilience initiatives.
