Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher, has said this year\u2019s Champions League final will be between his former team Liverpool and Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Carragher has also backed the Reds to go all the way and win the trophy.<\/p>\n

Jurgen Klopp\u2019s men beat Villarreal 2-0 in their semi-final first leg on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

In the other semi-final, Manchester City secured a 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in a thriller at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n

Carragher told CBS Sports: \u201cI think Liverpool will win the Champions League. The league I\u2019m not so sure, Manchester City have a slight advantage in that if they win all their games they\u2019ve won the league.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Champions League, it feels like it\u2019s Liverpool\u2019s competition and they\u2019ve got one foot in the final and I don\u2019t think anyone else can say that. I think Madrid will go through. When you miss that many chances in the first leg you have got a massive problem. It\u2019s a big standout game.\u201d<\/p>\n
