(CMLXVIII) of 30 November 2020 and the United Nations Security Council in resolution 2559 (2020) of 22 December 2020, to terminate the mandate of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Mission in Darfur (UNAMID).<\/p>\n<p>The establishment of this unique hybrid mission was a historic undertaking, through which both organizations and a number of troop and police contributing countries and donors have been engaged in collective efforts to protect civilians and help build peace in Darfur.
