Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has arrived in Bahir Dar City, Amhara Region, to participate at the 10th Tana High-Level Forum.<\/p>\n

The forum began yesterday under the theme \u201cManaging Security Threats: Building Resilience for the Africa We Want,\u201d in Bahir Dar City of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

Heads of state as well as former heads of government, influential Africans, heads of continental institutions, security and safety scholars, the private sector, civil institutions, development partners, the media and representatives of other sectors will attend the forum.<\/p>\n

The aim of the forum includes proposing solutions to the overarching security challenges of the continent to harness enduring peace and build resilience by placing citizens at the center and the state playing a role only when that is necessary.<\/p>\n

The forum will also cover the themes of maintaining peace and security, the role of citizens in peace building beyond the government\u2019s role, and increasing the economic and social benefits of the community as well as creating resilience to conflict, it was indicated.<\/p>\n
