Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) has become an official member of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).<\/p>\n

The commission said \u201cwe are delighted to announce that the EIC has become an official member of WAIPA. It is an opportunity to learn from the best experiences across IPAs to cater more to the demands of our esteemed investors.\u201d<\/p>\n

EIC will pro-actively engage with WAIPA and its member states in investment promotion, facilitation, aftercare, and advocacy works, it was learned.<\/p>\n

WAIPA is the premier organization that supports, gathers, and connects worldwide investment promotion agencies (IPAs), to exchange their experiences and expertise, and to provide them with research, training, events, and more.<\/p>\n

Being a member at WAIPA is valuable for investment promotion agencies as it is the global reference point for FDI.<\/p>\n
