Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Logistics and Transport Ministry stated that a discussion has been held on ways to restore road transport service to the Tigray region.<\/p>\n

Logistics and Transport State Ministers, Bero Hassen, and Dengie Boru visited the overall status of the transport infrastructures and transport institutions in the region.<\/p>\n

The state ministers have also held fruitful discussion with pertinent officials of the Tigray Interim Administration with a view to restart road transport service to the region.<\/p>\n

An agreement has been reached to enter into the implementation of resuming the road transport service by drafting short, medium and long-term plans.<\/p>\n

According to Logistics and Transport Ministry, the discussions were fruitful and there is a need for a broad-based collaboration and support of all stakeholders to rebuild the region.<\/p>\n

Various works will be undertaken on the logistics and transport sector in the region in collaboration with the Tigray Interim Administration and the regional Transport Bureau, it added.<\/p>\n
