Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Justice Minister Gedion Timotheos and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister’s Political Advisor Menelik Alemu gave a briefing on transitional justice to mainly the representatives of the European Union and member states yesterday.<\/p>\n

In the briefing, the minster highlighted the progress made in the implementation of the Transitional Justice Policy Options (TJPO) and the way forward for its full implementation.<\/p>\n

Gedion also gave an overview of implementation plans for the future at the briefing which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

The officials also addressed matters pertaining to the organization of the TJPO working group, highlighted the TJPO developed by the group, and the various public consultations held so far in different parts of Ethiopia with the support of stakeholders and partners, it was learned.<\/p>\n
