Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>The ruling Prosperity Party (PP) has pledged to continue its ongoing support to the successful conduct of upcoming national dialogue in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

The National Dialogue Commission has today presented a status report to the Prime Minister and high level government officials including Speaker of the House of Peoples Representatives, Tagese Chafo and Vice President of Prosperity Party, Adem Farah.<\/p>\n

The session included an update on the works undertaken by the National Dialogue Commission thus far.<\/p>\n

During the occasion, Prosperity Party Vice President, Adem Farah commended the activities so far carried out by the commission and the overall efforts being undertaken to ensure the inclusiveness of the national dialogue as encouraging.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been able to observe the fact that the commission has undertaken extensive works with a view to effectively achieve its goals and to making the dialogue inclusive and participatory by engaging pertinent actors in the process. We are happy by the overall activities so far undertaken by the commission.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vice president stated that the upcoming national dialogue will enable the nation to arrive at common understanding on major issues of national affairs which is vital to expedite the prosperity of the country by ensuring sustainable peace.<\/p>\n

In this regard, he added that an agreement has been reached among members of the party in their extensive deliberations.<\/p>\n

Adem said as a ruling party, Prosperity Party has been providing support to the commission ever since it commenced operation and pledged to continue enhanced support for the successful conduct of the dialogue.<\/p>\n

He has also disclosed that Prosperity Party has carried out the necessary preparations to actively participate in the dialogue as one of the stakeholders and to implement the outcomes of the dialogue.<\/p>\n
