Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Medemer” has opened a new chapter to use the potential wealth, culture and history of the Central Ethiopia Region for the prosperity of the country, Central Ethiopia Region Chief Administrator Endashaw Tasew said.<\/p>\n

A panel discussion organized by the Central Ethiopia Region, in collaboration with the Ethiopian News Agency under the theme “Medemer for creating wealth, managing resources, and promoting patriotism” was held in Hossaena city today.<\/p>\n

In his opening speech, Central Ethiopia Region Chief Administrator Endashaw Tasew mentioned that many works have been done since the establishment of the region two months ago.<\/p>\n

He noted that the new region has huge potential of natural resources with significant number of human resources and favorable environment for business and research.<\/p>\n

The chief administrator said that the Medemer forum organized in the region not only promotes the region, but also motivates to work for common prosperity by rallying people around agendas.<\/p>\n

According to the chief administrator, \u200b\u200bMedemer would enable joint utilization of the potential natural resources, manpower, history, culture and indigenous knowledge in the region.<\/p>\n

The Medemer thought is crucial in the efforts to achieve the plans of our country and our region, Endashaw said, adding that the forum is also important to rally the people around common issues.<\/p>\n

As the Central Ethiopia Region has huge development potential, the chief administrator finally called for collaborative effort in ensuring Ethiopia’s sustainable peace, development and prosperity.<\/p>\n

Ethiopian News Agency Chief Executive Officer, Seife Deribe said on his part that ENA organized the forum in collaboration with the regional government because the new region is typical manifestation of Medemer in terms of employment and wealth creation, people-to-people and cultural ties.<\/p>\n

The CEO also stated that the region has the potential to make its own legacy through development patriotism to succeed in all sectors as a country.<\/p>\n

It is known that the Central Ethiopia Region is blessed with potential natural resources, manpower, culture and many values \u200b\u200bthat will help the success of the country’s development plan from debt to reward.<\/p>\n
