Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today inaugurated the newly center for the Ethiopian Prosthetic and Orthotic Service, which he gave direction for its formation three years ago.<\/p>\n

The center will cater to increasing needs for such products by manufacturing them locally for persons encountering disabilities due to natural conditions and due to accidents.<\/p>\n

The Ethiopian Prosthetic and Orthotic Service will develop, maintain and provide assistive technologies, produce accessible, quality and customer-oriented prosthetic and physical supports and provide other rehabilitation services, Office of the Prime Minister said.<\/p>\n
