Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>UNESCO International Bureau of Education (UNESCO-IBE) Board President, Svein Osttveit has expressed readiness of the IBE to assist Ministry of Education in its endeavors of reforming the curriculum and improving the educational system.<\/p>\n

Education Minister and UNESCO National Commission President, Professor Berhanu Nega conferred with Osttveit on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the General Conference of UNESCO in Paris.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Professor Berhanu shared the actions undertaken by the Ministry of Education in relation to reforming the educational structure in general, and the curriculum review in particular.<\/p>\n

According to Ministry of Education, he also underlined the country\u2019s demand for international expertise in the areas under consideration.<\/p>\n

UNESCO-IBE President Svein Osttveit applauded the commitment of Ministry of Education in restructuring the educational system.<\/p>\n

He also expressed the readiness of his office in assisting the ministry in its endeavors of reforming the curriculum and improving the educational system.<\/p>\n
