Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have discussed on issues of common interest earlier today, ahead of the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) Summit.<\/p>\n

Premier Abiy said I held a constructive bilateral meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin to further strengthen the political and economic ties between our two countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe agreed to expand cooperation in clean energy, Foreign Direct Investment, fertilizer production, and regional security issues,\u201d the prime minister indicated on his Face-book page.<\/p>\n

The two sides conferred on areas of bilateral cooperation, domestic and regional issues, it was learned.<\/p>\n

Ethiopia and Germany enjoy close cooperation on matters of climate change, energy, education, regional peace and security.<\/p>\n

It is to be recalled that the two leaders met earlier this year during the Chancellor\u2019s visit to Ethiopia.<\/p>\n
