Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Djiboutian delegation led by the President of Djibouti National Assembly, Dileita Mohamed Dileita visited the National Museum of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

The delegation has visited anthropological and archeological findings as well as historical heritages that depict the origin of human race and Ethiopia\u2019s civilization at the museum.<\/p>\n

Ethiopian Authority for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage (ARCCH) Director-General, Abebaw Ayalew escorted and briefed the delegation about the archeological and historical heritages in museum.<\/p>\n

Djibouti National Assembly President, Dileita Mohamed Dileita for his part expressed joy for visiting the museum.<\/p>\n

The National Museum of Ethiopia is a repository of the country’s cultural, historical, and archaeological treasures. It is also recognized for housing significant paleoanthropological exhibits.<\/p>\n

The National Museum is famous for its archaeological findings, particularly early hominid fossils like “Lucy,” a partial skeleton of Australopithecus afarensis.<\/p>\n

More recent additions to the collection include “Selam,” another archaic fossil dating back to around 3.3 million years ago.<\/p>\n

Djiboutian delegation led by the President of Djibouti National Assembly, Dileita Mohamed Dileita is in Addis Ababa for official working visit to Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

The delegation had visited Ethiopian Airlines, the largest network operating carrier in Africa, on Wednesday. It also discussed with the House of People\u2019s Representatives Speaker, Tagesse Chafo on bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

In a speech, Djibouti National Assembly President, Dileita Mohamed Dileita, delivered to Ethiopia\u2019s House of People\u2019s Representatives today said Ethiopia has a symbolic and unique status in Africa expressing his country\u2019s desire to further bolster bilateral cooperation in all areas.<\/p>\n
